We are a young, international team of motorcycle enthusiasts based in Gran Canaria and Tenerife. We provide premium motorcycle rentals and carefully crafted tours, ensuring you experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Canary Islands. As avid riders ourselves, we bring our passion and expertise to every journey, promising an unforgettable ride for all our clients.
We also speak many languages within the team so you will feel like home. We speak English, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, French, Czech.
Ondrej originally from the Czech Republic founded Canary Ride in 2016, and he has been riding motorcycles for over 18 years. After studied a motorcycle mechanic school, he got into a track racing industry and eventually run a website about the community in Czech. Ondrej speak Czech, English and Spanish.
In 2013 he started working in Spain and the rest of Europe with ex-MotoGp rider Simon Crafar who has been running his company Motovudu where he was teaching and coaching private riders on the circuits.
He also likes video and photography, his dog Choco and exploring new places and eating new food.
Alex was born in Gran Canaria but moved to Tenerife in 2022 to join Canary Ride as a store manager. He has a passion for motorbikes and own Honda Africa Twin.
Katinka is part of the Tenerife team. She was born an raised in the Netherlands, where she fell in love with motorcycles at her first ride. She had a dream of riding across the world, from her home country to New Zealand, but the pandemic changed her plans. Instead, she embarked on an epic journey around Europe on her trusty 2004 Honda Transalp 650.
After 1.5 years and 50,000 km of exploring stunning landscapes and roads, she arrived in Tenerife and decided to stay. She believes that nothing can compare to the beauty and diversity of the Canary Islands, where she enjoys sharing her passion for motorcycles with others.
Katinka is also a big animal lover and a nature enthusiast. When she is not on her bike, she likes to hike in the mountains, swim in the sea or work on her motorbike.
Antonio keeps the fleet in perfect shape from our main workshop, handling everything from routine servicing to full rebuilds.
Monika is often the first friendly voice our riders hear. She coordinates bookings and makes sure every customer feels at home before they even arrive.
Alvaro runs day-to-day operations at one of our island shops, making sure every bike leaves clean, fueled, and ready for adventure.
Ramón leads guided rides across the islands. Born and raised in the Canaries, he knows every twist of every mountain road.
Diego specializes in adventure bikes and large-capacity tourers. If something needs fixing on the road, he is the one who gets it sorted.
Andreas handles bookings, paperwork, and pre-rental checks, making sure every rider starts their trip with total peace of mind.
Eduardo keeps bikes moving between our locations across the islands so customers can always pick up where it suits them best.
Victor guides multi-day tours and photo stops, blending local history with the best coffee spots on the route.
Davide oversees our growing fleet, tracking service intervals and ensuring every motorcycle meets Canary Ride standards.
Choco was born in Fuerteventura but grow up in Las Palmas. You could meet him sometimes in Gran Canaria shop, protecting all the precious motorcycles.
Canary Ride was born out of a three-month motorcycle trip that turned into a lifelong passion. Our founder, Ondřej Vymětalík, a 31-year-old from the Czech Republic, fell in love with the Canary Islands, especially Gran Canaria. He loved the beautiful landscapes and winding roads so much that he decided to stay longer than a year. This love for the islands led him to start Canary Ride. His goal was simple: to share the thrill of riding through Gran Canaria’s unique landscapes with others.
